I am an avid reader of books, self-help being my favorite genre. I have recently read a book written by an award-winning life coach – Deeipa Nischhal. This book is a short thirty-two-page practical handbook, and I could easily connect with it. It provoked deep reflective thoughts in my mind. It has strengthened me to learn how to take control of my happiness using practical tips and easily doable techniques. The key takeaway from the book is that happiness is a choice that we make and create for ourselves. We can still choose to be a happy person, despite whatever may be the circumstances or whatever we have gone through in our lives. Happiness is something that is not dependent on other people, but it comes from within ourselves. Nothing will make us happy until we choose and decide to be happy!
I would surely recommend this book to anyone who is going through a tough time amidst the pandemic and searching for happiness in the outside world.
