February Coffee Chat

The 30th and thirty first bi-weekly virtual coffee cum business chat for Prayaana Entrepreneurs Collective was held on 7th and 28th February 2021.

The goal of the Coffee Chat is to connect a group of women entrepreneurs and business professionals who want to level up their personal and professional development skills and encourage collaborations with a group of like-minded women who struggle. We learnt new skills, shared ideas and gave moral support to each other. The participants were a mix of women entrepreneurs and homemakers who were passionate about making their dreams come true. We welcomed new members who introduced themselves and the existing members shared their experiences.

Mentors discussed new business opportunities, network marketing and shared valuable advice and tips to promote business building tools, personal growth and planning of upcoming events.

This time the leader of our meet was Prayaana member Ms. Mridula, Proprietor of Artyz clothes design and arty home décor studio at Girinagar, Ernakulam artist by profession and Ms. Usha Kuruvilla, Essence Training Institute, Thripunithara, Ernakulam. All of them shared their inspiring journey of an entrepreneur. They also explained how through networking they got exposure to various customers and realized what they were actually looking for. Also by attending training through mentoring sessions they expect their business to bloom into what they envision.

Prayaana is going to launch two new projects on 8th March 2021, UDAAN (Virtual Business Skill Development Program) and UJAAINI (Virtual Startup ideation and incubation program) exclusively for women entrepreneurs, women faculty members and research scholars of technological colleges of KTU to launch their businesses within one year with periodical mentoring and structured hand-holding by an expert in association with Kerala Startup Mission, K-DISC and KTU. The orientation of the project was given by mentors Ms. Keziah Thomas and Dr. Chandra Vadhana. R.
