Indian film producer Guneet Monga, known for her documentary film “The Elephant Whisperers,” recently shared her thoughts on nepotism in Bollywood at the News18 India Rising event. The Oscar-winning filmmaker believes that the film industry is democratic and beautiful, despite the allegations of nepotism.

According to Guneet, hard work is the key to success in Bollywood. She emphasized that there are no shortcuts to achieving success in a competitive industry. She recounted her experience as an insurance agent, where she learned to embrace rejection and celebrate it. Guneet encouraged everyone to work hard and persevere, even in the face of rejection.

Guneet was the producer of “The Elephant Whisperers,” a short film directed by Kartiki Gonsalves, who made her directorial debut with the project. The film won an Oscar for Best Documentary Short Film.
