Since our childhood, our parents faced a great deal of trouble when it came to making us drink milk every day. Milk has various strong nutritious ingredients, therefore it’s mandatory to have milk every day. However, often kids have a strong detestation towards milk, and it becomes almost impossible to make them drink. Hence, we’ve compiled a list of some sumptuous milk-based recipes that are delicious and easy to make at home. 

  1. Kheer

Kheer is a widely popular Indian sweet that is made with cereals, lentils, rice, and of course milk. Kheer is a pudding, traditionally made with milk, sugar, and dry fruits. 

2. Sewai

Festivals are incomplete without this delicious dessert. Traditionally this creamy dessert is a North-Indian sweet made with wheat vermicelli, milk, sugar, and dry fruits, and flavored with spices. 

3. Rabri

This mouthwatering dessert is a sweet, condensed milk-based dish, made with full-fat milk, sugar, nuts, saffron, and cardamoms. This heavenly creamy dessert is served as a dessert or along with malpua, gulab jamun, jalebi, and puri.

4. Paneer Payesh 

Paneer payesh is a traditional Bengali sweet dish or pudding called channar payesh. This quick and easy dessert will only require paneer, Indian cottage cheese, milk, sugar, cardamom, saffron, pistachios, and a few drops of rose essence. 

5. Milk Tart Cake

Milk tart cake is a traditional South African, delicate yet decadent dessert. With a flaky crust and topped with a generous dusting of cinnamon, this tart is creamy and luxurious. Serve it after dinner or as a teatime treat and we’re sure you’ll love it!
