“Harvard Business School must be desperate for speakers” Kim slammed for speaking at Harvard
Kimberly Noel Kardashian is an American socialite, media personality, and businesswoman. She was born on 21 st October 1980. She is a TV star, entrepreneur, fashion designer, and author. Kim Kardashian has parlayed reality TV stardom into a ten-figure fortune, selling a mobile game, cosmetics, and shapewear. She divorced musician Kanye West in early 2022. They together have four children together.
Kim recently spoke at Harvard Business School and was slammed for being invited to do the same.
I spoke At Harvard Business School yesterday for a class called HBS Moving Beyond DTC. The class’s assignment was to learn about @skims, so my partner Jens and I spoke about our marketing, our challenges, and our greatest wins. pic.twitter.com/42FiWDlmaj— Kim Kardashian (@KimKardashian) January 21, 2023
Kardashian visited HBS in Massachusetts with Skims co-founder Jens Grede and spoke to students about the shapewear company as a part of a direct-to-consumer seminar.
Kim might not be known for her business knowledge, but we can’t ignore the fact that this reality star has created a successful empire. She has one of the strongest personal brands in the world, has built a billion-dollar business, launched a Private Equity fund, and disrupted marketing forever.
People commented on social media: “Someone can get to be famous, successful and rich for the wrong reasons, so promoting it using only narrow materialistic view as criteria is and always will be wrong” “But would she be there if it wasn’t for her name? No wait, not even her name, because Kim was no one before the sex tape, this is not making fun of or speculation, it is raw data looked over by many.” “Harvard Business School must be desperate for speakers”, another wrote.
There were a few supportive comments too. “I don’t get what the hate is about. A bunch of jealous people,” one user pointed out. “The reality is, she wasn’t born ultra-wealthy. She created a company, leveraged her talents, and built a brand.”
