Oats and Banana Smoothie
Dussehra/Vijaya Dashami is a festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil.
Some people fast during Dussehra. In our household, we restrict ourselves from salty, fried, or cooked food. Our meals comprise fruits, nuts, and milk. This reduces the time spent in the kitchen and allows one to focus on things one loves flowing into. I feel energized and rejuvenated by the end of this period. It’s a great way to keep my mind and body recharged.
This 5-ingredient smoothie is a quick and easy recipe that you can use as a healthy breakfast option or even as a snack.
The oats and bananas make you feel fuller for a longer period, which helps on the fasting days of Dussehra. If you are a vegan, you can substitute the milk with oat milk and enjoy it.
