Babita Baruah, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in advertising and marketing, will assume a dual role. She will serve as the regional client lead for WPP’s Ford International Market Group and as the executive director at VMLY&R Thailand.

Extensive Industry Background and Accomplishments
Baruah’s journey in the advertising and marketing sector commenced at JWT/Wunderman Thompson India, where she spent nearly 20 years handling global and local brands such as PepsiCo, Unilever, Nestlé, Kellogg’s, Godrej, Kotak Mahindra, Reliance, and Aditya Birla.
In 2017, she joined GTB as the managing partner. Her career took an international turn in 2021 when she assumed the WPP Lead role for Ford business across six regions and became the executive director at VMLY&R Thailand, overseeing operations in India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and the Middle East.
British Chevening Scholar and Industry Speaker
A British Chevening Scholar, Baruah has been a speaker at various global forums, including the India Conference at Harvard Business School in 2016. She serves as a super mentor for WPP Stella India, a women’s network dedicated to advancing women’s progress in the workplace.
