Swati Maliwal's AAP Swearing-In

Swati Maliwal, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), officially assumed her position in the Rajya Sabha on January 31 during the commencement of the 2024 Budget Session. The AAP member from Delhi was elected unopposed on January 5, expressing her commitment to serving the country.

She pointed out the significance of having a vocal opposition, stating, “If all the MPs of the opposition are suspended, then who will question the government? So suspending the opposition MPs is a sad thing.”
