Diede de Groot won her 15th consecutive Grand Slam title in the women’s wheelchair final at Wimbledon, beating fellow Dutch player Aniek van Koot 6-4, 6-4 on No. 1 Court. She secured the victory with a backhand service return, extending her record streak of major titles to 23.

De Groot, who has won every Grand Slam since the 2020 US Open, also holds 19 major doubles titles.

Reflecting on her journey, the 27-year-old noted the growth in support for wheelchair tennis. “In 2017, I played on Court 3 with only a few fans. Today, playing on Court 1 with so many supporters is incredible. Thank you all for your support.”
