In the heart of the Sunderbans, Sundarini, a pioneering milk cooperative, has captured global attention. Established in 2015, Sundarini has achieved remarkable success, winning the prestigious Third IDF Dairy Innovation Award in Paris, surpassing 153 international entries.
Sundarini has transformed the lives of over 4,500 rural women in South 24 Parganas. Once marginalized, these women now produce over 2,000 liters of preservative-free milk daily, driving the dairy industry forward.
