In a world where kindness and generosity can often seem scarce, Sushant Divgikar’s heartwarming gesture is a reminder of the transformative power of giving.

Sushant, famously known as Rani Ko-HE-Nur, used their earnings from voicing a character in the Hindi dub of Squid Game Season 2 to fund the postgraduate education of Dr. Ruth Paul John, India’s first transgender doctor to pursue a master’s in medicine.

Dr. Ruth’s story is one of incredible courage and perseverance. Growing up as an orphan in a humble farming family, she battled immense challenges to earn her MBBS. Today, she serves as a medical officer at Osmania General Hospital, specializing in compassionate care for HIV/AIDS patients.

Dr. Ruth’s journey reached a historic milestone when she became the first transgender person to secure a seat in the MD Emergency Medicine program at ESI Hospital. Sushant’s contribution became the critical support she needed to continue her education.

As Sushant beautifully put it, “The joy in giving is unparalleled because that’s the highest blessing.” This selfless act is a testament to the impact one person can have on another’s life.

Sushant’s gesture is a reminder that kindness knows no bounds. It’s a celebration of the human spirit, which can overcome any obstacle with compassion, empathy, and love.

Let Sushant’s story inspire you to spread kindness and make a difference in someone’s life today!
