A Strong Woman’s Inspiring Story of Love and Loss
A strong woman knows how to keep her life in order. Even with tears in her eyes, she still manages to say “I am ok” with a smile. Isn’t this the story of every woman? True to the norms this is the story of Asha Suresh Ingle, a brave, strong, practical, and logical woman who believed in herself against all odds.

Born in Vidarbha, Nagpur, Asha’s life was marked by tragedy from the start. She lost her infant daughter just 45 days after birth. The pain was overwhelming. Even in her grief, her determination to build a better life kept her moving forward.
But fate had different plans. A property dispute left Asha and her husband with no choice but to leave their home, taking only a few belongings with them. They moved to Mumbai—a city of dreams that, for them, began with hardships. Asha took up work as a housemaid, while her husband learned electrical work, both doing whatever it took to survive.
Starting over in a new city was overwhelming. With no support system to rely on, Asha and her husband had to build everything from the ground up. Still, Asha’s determination never wavered. She worked day and night to make ends meet, and her husband did the same, both striving to provide for their family.
Just when things started to look up, Asha gave birth to a healthy baby boy. They poured their hearts and souls into giving him a better life. They worked hard to provide for his education, his health, and his happiness.

As their son grew, their hopes and dreams began to revolve around him. He never gave them a reason to worry. After completing Class X, he joined a bakery, eager to support his family. With Asha and her husband as his role models, he understood the value of hard work and kindness. He contributed to the household expenses and even managed to save enough to buy a bike, filling their home with joy.
Yet, happiness was fleeting. Tragedy struck again. Their son’s life was tragically cut short in a bike accident, leaving Asha and her husband shattered. The pain was unbearable, and Asha fell into silence, unable to speak for days. Just when she needed her husband’s support the most, he withdrew, overcome by grief and sinking into depression.
For Asha, life seemed to come to a standstill. But only for a moment.
Asha rose to her feet, took charge, and returned to work. With a heavy heart, she resumed her job as a housemaid while caring for her husband, nursing him back to health, and slowly piecing their lives together. She became his strength, his support, and his reason to keep going.
Her journey shows that even in the darkest times, there is always a way forward. No matter how difficult life gets, courage and effort can help overcome the toughest challenges.
Asha’s deep love for her family reflects the quiet yet powerful strength of a woman. She never gave up, doing everything she could to protect and care for the people she loved. True strength is not about never falling but about rising again, no matter how hard the fall.
As we honor Asha Suresh Ingle, we recognize every woman who has faced hardships with courage and grace. Their strength, love, and relentless spirit deserve to be celebrated—not just today, but always.
