Exploring Amrita Vidyapeetham's Online Course

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies has introduced a one-year free online certification course, ‘Rigvedic Geography’. The course is open to everyone, providing a unique opportunity for learners to understand the historical and geographical context of Rigveda. The institute claimed that the course will offer an in-depth exploration of the ancient knowledge of Vedic civilization and culture, promoting and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage. The course is led by Jijith Nadumuri Ravi, a distinguished academic, writer, and former ISRO space scientist, who will take students on a geographical journey into Rigveda with the Rigvedic rivers as their primary guides.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Dr. P. Venkat Rangan, Vice-Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, expressed his excitement about the launch of this unique course, which aims to make education accessible to learners worldwide while promoting and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.
