Bansuri Swaraj appointed Co-Convenor of BJP Delhi’s Legal Cell
Bansuri Swaraj, the daughter of former Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, has been appointed as the co-convenor of the BJP Delhi’s legal cell. The move is expected to bring fresh energy and new ideas to the cell.
Bansuri is a well-educated and experienced lawyer with an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Warwick and a law degree from BPP Law School in London. She has also qualified as a Barrister in Law and completed her Master of Studies at the University of Oxford.
Throughout her professional career, Bansuri has represented high-profile clients in contentious litigation across various judicial fora. She has expertise in disputes involving contracts, real estate, tax, international commercial arbitrations, as well as several criminal trials.
Apart from her new role in the BJP Delhi’s legal cell, Bansuri Swaraj has also been appointed as the Additional Advocate General for the State of Haryana, while continuing to run her private practice. As a woman with vast experience in the legal field, Bansuri’s appointment is a positive step toward increasing gender diversity in political leadership positions. Her appointment will undoubtedly inspire many young women to pursue their dreams and aspire to leadership positions in the legal and political spheres.
