Barbara Corcoran suggests that if you aspire to become a millionaire, there’s one crucial action to take: “I out-try anyone”
Barbara Corcoran recently spoke on the “World of Women” podcast about how budding entrepreneurs, especially women aiming for millionaire status, can navigate the business world.
Her advice? Forget about money for now.
Instead, focus on honing your skills and being the best in your field.
“Take money out of the equation and concentrate solely on finding something you excel at,” Corcoran advised. “Then, practice relentlessly until you become outstanding at it. This way, you’ll stand out and have little competition. You’ll be the top in your field.”
“I’m relentless. I’ll try anything and everything, attempting a hundred things to make one succeed,” she added. “I’m not ashamed. I know if I keep trying, eventually something will click.”
Corcoran’s success in real estate and as a long-time investor on “Shark Tank” is a testament to her hard work. However, she’s candid about the challenges she faced, revealing to her Instagram followers that she almost lost her job on the show before it even started.
Additionally, Corcoran’s real estate career relied heavily on commission deals. But with recent changes, like the NAR settlement removing rules on sales commissions, the industry is evolving.
“Change is nothing new in real estate. What I’m certain of is that real estate professionals are resilient and adaptable,” she commented on the NAR news. “They’re resourceful and tough, and this change gives them the opportunity to find new and improved ways to serve their clients.”
Corcoran’s net worth is estimated to be around $400 million.
In summary, Corcoran emphasizes the importance of skill development and perseverance over chasing wealth. By focusing on mastering your craft and being persistent, you can achieve success in any field, regardless of setbacks or changes in the indus
