“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it’s all that matters.” — Audrey Hepburn

What is happiness? It is one of those big questions with many different answers. For some, happiness is about the thrill of new experiences; for others, it’s found in the quiet moments at home. It’s a unique mix of emotions and experiences that can make each day brighter and more meaningful.

Let me take you on a journey to discover where we, the SheSighters, find our happiness. At SheSight, we have grown from a cozy little group to a large, thriving media house, and this journey has been incredibly joyful for everyone involved. Starting out, we were just a handful of women with a big dream: to create a space where women could speak up, share their stories, and support each other. As our community grew, so did our strength. It’s been amazing to see how our initial vision has blossomed and how each new member has added to the spirit and success of SheSight. What sets us apart, though, isn’t just what we have achieved—it is how we have done it. Our meetings, which sometimes last for more than an hour, are filled with lively discussions where everyone’s input is valued. It feels less like work and more like a gathering of friends, where we celebrate our wins and tackle our challenges together.

This sense of togetherness and mutual support is what makes SheSight special. We have created a place where we all find personal joy and professional fulfillment. This is proof that when women come together with a shared purpose, we not only build something successful but also create a space where happiness thrives. As we continue to grow, this happiness, found in our daily interactions and shared successes, keeps us all energized and inspired.

At SheSight, happiness is part of our daily lives and shared moments, and everyone has their own unique way of experiencing it. During a group chat, we talked about everything from the little things that make us smile each day to the huge moments that really change our lives.

Take Anamika, for instance, our dynamic teammate. She really enjoys the simple stuff—like sipping her morning tea and watching clouds roll by. Her passion for these moments reminds us all to appreciate the little joys every day, even amidst her busy work schedule.

Nidhi Raj, our dedicated writer, shares her perspective on happiness: “When I reinvent myself and work on my unique qualities, I become a better person each day. Repeating the same process leads me towards perfection. I am more than a conqueror, counting my blessings daily and feeling grateful to God.” Her approach is a perfect example of the deep personal growth that we all strive for at SheSight, constantly enhancing our professional journey.

Bidisha Ghosh, our newest teammate, loves her quiet beach walks at sunrise and sunset, soaking in the early morning energy of fishermen and the beautiful sky colors. Her stories push us to look for beauty everywhere around us, encouraging us to find serene moments even near our workplace.

Riti, our creative writer, reminisces, “I miss those days when I used to write a lot in my diary—tiny notes, my feelings, my thoughts, daily routines. I miss my canvas and brushes. Whenever I manage to find some time for myself, I go back to those days, those practices, and they also bring me joy.” She shows us how reconnecting with past passions can bring a surge of joy, rekindling creativity within our work environment.

Neethu, our warm team member, shares laughs over games of snakes and ladders with her family and enjoys peaceful walks at night. These precious family times are the highlights of her day, and they remind us of the happiness in simple shared moments, reinforcing the importance of work-life balance.

Surangama Guha, our thoughtful writer, finds happiness in taking care of herself, whether it’s through a long hug, some quiet time alone, or meditation. She shows us the importance of looking after our mental health and finding peace within ourselves, highlighting the supportive mental health resources required at any workplace.

And then there’s Praveena Laxmi, our spirited writer, who shares her simple recipe for joy: ” To make me feel happy, I reward myself. Go shopping alone, order my favorite food, or simply sit without doing anything.” Her words remind us that self-care is an essential, often joyful, part of life, and a beneficial practice to consider during break hours.

These stories from our SheSight community aren’t just about what makes us happy; they are about the shared spirit that brings us all together. Here at SheSight, we share more than just a workplace; we share our journeys and joys, making each other’s happiness our own. So let these stories inspire you, just as they inspire us every day, to find and cherish those happy moments in life and to grow together.
