Navjot Simi, a dentist-turned-IPS officer, has achieved remarkable success as Bihar’s top cop. Clearing the UPSC exam on her first attempt, Navjot Simi secured the IPS service and Bihar cadre. Trained at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, she began her career as the DSP of Patna. As an IPS officer, she has been actively involved in maintaining law and order, crime prevention, and social welfare.
