Inclined to this beauty: Sierra Nevada Mountain range
Incline village reminds me of the European countryside. This beautiful place is nested in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in the state of Nevada bordering Lake Tahoe. People flock to Lake Tahoe for the blue waters and the scenic beauty of the mountain ranges and woods with a lot of spots to camp and picnic and are quite famous among tourists coming to California.
Incline Village was an interesting find. It gives you a feeling of the countryside, laid-back living. The downtown has the vibe of a Swiss town with music, dance, food, laughter, and happiness. There is a small business that has goodies and memorabilia to buy for oneself or friends and families. Night falls early in the mountains as everybody goes to sleep early, I think it’s to view the morning rays from the mountains.
There is a view from the hotel window we were staying in as it’s surrounded by mountains with conifers lining them. Getting up early morning to this view and having a coffee/tea/water or going for an early morning walk with your loved ones would be one of the most blissful experiences.
If you are a bird enthusiast it’s a treat! You can hear the melody of their sounds and can spot a lot of varieties. On the walk through the lush grass with yellow flowers blossomed giving a pleasant view and you would want to lie on the grass gazing at the blue sky. It’s going to be the most therapeutic and serene experience for the mind and soul.
There are small wooden logs that act as bridges over the creeks. These creeks have long grass on the banks that are home to a lot of organisms. Be it dragonflies, birds, frogs, beavers, squirrels, and maybe the mountains may have wildlife more interesting. The water flowing and rubbing the small rocks is quite melodious and soothing. This summer walk will make you all refreshed for a scrumptious breakfast, again with a view.
From the view of these coniferous hugged mountains, if you wish to see blue waters you could easily get to Tahoe. It’s a short drive with a lake bordering the road. If you plan to take a halt at a parking-permitted spot en route you could see people enjoying rafting.
There are wooden cabins that are meant for vacation stays on the banks of these lakes. Also, an evening drive to Tahoe could give you a good dining experience in the soothing countryside with lively lights, music, and dance. These small bar and grill spots give you yummilacious food and a fun time. If you are lucky you can witness summer rain.
A drive with the summer rain with your favorite music would be a fun ride. The interesting fact is you could have a long drive from this laid-back scenic beauty “Incline Village” to the city of Angels too. It’s indeed a long drive to Los Angeles through the scenic beauty covering various national forests and lakes but worth it! What are you waiting for?
