Maison Ava, the Indian-origin kidswear brand, has made history by becoming the first-ever Indian brand to feature in London’s premium store, Harrods. The brand has taken its place within the Mini Super Brands area on the store’s fourth floor, featuring selected pieces for boys and girls aged 2-14 years.

The brand’s edit, which has been exclusively curated for Harrods, has arrived ahead of the busy party season and Eid, and Maison Ava’s pieces will ensure that children are perfectly dressed for life’s most precious occasions. Each Maison Ava piece is handmade by its atelier of expert designers and embroiderers, and each piece in the company’s offer has been strategically designed so children can move with ease in clothes they will love to wear.

Founder and creative director Viranica Manchu said she has been a long-time Harrods customer and being stocked there was a business goal of hers. The label, which showed at Patti Bimbo last month, has also recently opened inside Harvey Nichols, not in London, but in Doha, inside the Festival City Mall.

Maison Ava’s debut in Harrods marks a significant milestone for Indian fashion, as the brand brings its unique blend of traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary design to a global audience. The brand’s focus on high-quality fabrics, intricate embroidery, and exceptional attention to detail has earned it a loyal following among fashion-forward parents looking for standout pieces for their little ones.

It’s a good fit for a luxury emporium that’s hugely popular with both UK and international shoppers, as Maison Ava’s pieces offer a fresh and unique take on kidswear. With its London debut, Maison Ava is poised to take the global fashion scene by storm, cementing its place as one of the most exciting new brands to watch in the world of children’s fashion.
