Megha Mittal

Megha Mittal, a prominent fashion entrepreneur, formerly held the position of Chairperson and Managing Director at the German luxury fashion brand Escada. Before her foray into the fashion industry, she worked in investment research at Goldman Sachs. Megha is married to Aditya Mittal, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director of ArcelorMittal, the son of the Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal, whose real-time net worth, according to Forbes, is a staggering Rs 1,24,280 crore. The couple is blessed with three children.

Megha Mittal was born in Kolkata and pursued her higher education at the Wharton School of Business, where she earned a degree in Finance and Management. She also holds a position on the Board of Advisors of the Wharton School. Her schooling took place at Hyderabad Public School. Following her graduation, she joined Goldman Sachs, where she worked as an Analyst in the Research Department. After a year, she decided to part ways with the company. In 2003, she expanded her horizons by earning a Postgraduate Degree in Architectural Interior Design from the Inchbald School of Design in London.

In 2009, Megha Mittal assumed control of Escada and successfully transformed the brand into a contemporary luxury and lifestyle label. Both Megha and her husband, Aditya, are actively involved in philanthropic endeavors that primarily focus on child health initiatives in both India and the UK.
