According to property records obtained by Mansion Global, Friends star Jennifer Aniston has reportedly purchased Oprah Winfrey’s lavish mansion in Montecito for $14.75 million. The off-market deal was allegedly made at the end of March, though neither Aniston nor Winfrey has confirmed the news.
Montecito is a highly-coveted coastal enclave in California that’s home to several celebrities, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Ariana Grande, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Aniston herself recently offered her Instagram followers a rare peek into her Los Angeles home, which she bought in 2011 and personally decorated with plush couches and antique screens.
Although details about Winfrey’s former mansion are scarce due to the hush-hush nature of the deal, past listings reveal that it’s a Tuscan-style farmhouse with four bedrooms, 4,320 square feet of living space, and roughly an acre of grounds. Winfrey purchased the property in January 2021 for $10.48 million using an entity linked to her network.
It’s yet to be seen what Aniston plans to do with the luxurious estate, but given her love for hosting Friends reunion parties, it’s sure to be a dreamy place to gather with friends and loved ones.
