In a recent development, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut met with Israel’s Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, amid the ongoing tensions between Israel and Palestine. Kangana, who has been a vocal supporter of Israel since the Hamas attack at an Israeli music festival on October 7, 2023, shared pictures of her meeting with the Israeli Ambassador.

In an Instagram post, Kangana lauded Israel’s resilience in the face of Hamas’ terror attacks against civilians. She drew parallels between the celebration of Dussehra, which honors Lord Rama’s victory over the evil Raavana, and the joint efforts of India and Israel against radical terrorism.

Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Had a soulful meeting with Israel’s ambassador to Bharat Shri Naor Gilon ji. Today the whole world, especially Israel and India are fighting their war against terrorism. Yesterday when I reached Delhi to burn Ravana, I felt that I should visit the Israel Embassy and meet those who are defeating terrorists like today’s modern Raavana Hamas. The way young children and women are being targeted is heart-wrenching. I have full hope Israel will win this war against terrorism.” Kangana also discussed her upcoming film, “Tejas,” which is based on India’s self-reliant fighter jet Tejas. She is currently preparing for her role in the aerial action-thriller “Tejas” and will portray former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in “Emergency.”

The actress had previously expressed her concern over the Hamas attacks on Israel’s music festival, the abduction of civilians, and their exploitation. She stated, “It’s impossible to scroll through SM and not get jolted/scarred/appalled or deeply disturbed looking at Israeli women’s pictures, even their corpses are being raped and molested by terrorists. Every martyr deserves a dignified death.”
