The match, lasting an hour and 54 minutes, saw Muchova’s athletic prowess shine through as she claimed a 7-6(0), 6-3 win. Both players adopted a proactive style, approaching the net a total of 73 times, with Muchova leading the charge at 30 net approaches.

Muchova’s next challenge will be world number 53, Wang Xinyu, who triumphed over Anna Karolina Schmiedlova with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory in a match lasting 2 hours and 8 minutes.
