The Smart Cities Index 2024, created by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), ranks cities based on their use of technology and economic strength to improve life quality and tackle social issues. This year, most top-ranked cities are in Europe and Asia. Let’s explore what makes five of these cities stand out:

Canberra, Australia (3rd place)

Canberra is known for its clean air, green spaces, and inclusivity. Bryden and David Campbell of Brand Rebellion highlight the city’s strong community feel and focus on sustainability.
