According to reports, Victoria Alonso, an executive at Marvel Studios, has been fired for violating her contract. Victoria Alonso was responsible for overseeing the production of the Oscar-nominated film, “Judas and the Black Messiah,” which was co-produced by Marvel Studios and Warner Bros.

The breach of contract allegedly occurred when Alonso allowed Marvel Studios’ logo to be used in the film’s marketing materials without permission from Warner Bros., which was a violation of their co-production agreement. This decision reportedly led to tension between the two studios. Alonso has been a key player in Marvel Studios, having been with the company since its inception in 2006. She has held various positions, including executive producer on several of the studio’s films, such as “Avengers: Endgame” and “Black Panther.”

There has been no official statement from Marvel Studios or Alonso regarding her reported firing. However, some speculate that the decision could have been made due to the breach of contract and the resulting tension with Warner Bros.

The firing of Alonso comes at a time when Marvel Studios is expanding its slate of films and television shows, with several new projects in development. It remains to be seen how her departure will impact the future of the studio.
