Meghan Markle’s Family Speaks Out

In a ‘World Exclusive’ interview with Australia’s Channel 7 News, Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha and father Thomas Markle Sr. opened up about their strained relationship with the Duchess of Sussex. The interview is set to air on the eve of King Charles III’s coronation.

Samantha slammed Meghan, claiming that if not for their father, Meghan “would still be a waitress”. She also alleged that Meghan and Prince Harry have a toxic relationship that is not healthy for either of them.

Thomas, on the other hand, made a “deathbed plea” to his daughter, asking, “How can I fix this?” He expressed his hurt over Meghan cutting off communication with him after her marriage.

Meghan married Prince Harry in May 2018, in what was considered a fairy tale romance come true. However, their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family in January 2020 created controversy, especially after Meghan revealed in an interview that someone in the royal family had expressed concerns over her children’s skin color.

While Prince Harry will attend the coronation of King Charles III, Meghan will not be present.
