Melissa McCarthy has been chosen as the cover girl for People magazine’s 2023 “Beautiful Issue”, and the “Little Mermaid” star has a distinct definition of beauty. According to her, it is all about “allowing other people to be who they are.” McCarthy believes that everyone should lead with kindness and be exactly who and what they are. She also added that there is nothing more attractive and inspiring than seeing someone being okay with who they are.
The “Life of the Party” star is known for her distinct way of making audiences cheer her on, and she believes that imperfections are what make people relate and fall in love. During an “Actresses Roundtable” with The Times in 2018, she spoke about how the perfect-woman phenomenon in films is a disease because it leaves audiences wondering if they should be perfect too. McCarthy stated that she does not want to know a perfect woman because she does not believe one exists.
