Miss Ukraine, Victoria Apanesenko makes a stunning appearance with her power costume at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.
For the Miss Universe pageant’s national costume competition, Miss Ukraine Viktoria Apanasenko’s outfit “Warrior of Light ” costume symbolizes her nation’s fight against the darkness like Archangel Michael, who defends Ukraine to protect.
Viktoria carrying a weapon in her hand and clothed in armor carries light through the darkness that came to the peaceful land with the aggressor.
The multilayer ornate is a white dress of vyshyvanka style with puff sleeves and a long skirt. The headwear was decorated with traditional spikelets of Ukraine, oversized yellow and blue wings framed in blue and gold armor (which are colors of the Ukraine flag) fancied with various mirror ornaments, opened for a decisive battle. The monolithic jumpsuit represents armor and wraps Viktoria like a second skin.
The costume was designed by Lesia Patoka, her label Nagolovy was created in Ukraine in four months under extreme conditions, to the sound of sirens, without electricity, and by candlelight.
The stunning costume was applauded globally and was appreciated on social media for its symbolism. It not only gained words of appreciation like stunning, badass, and amazing but was also regarded as a power pack fashion statement.
Social media users conveyed best wishes to Viktoria for the pageant and one wrote “This costume couldn’t be better. Viktoria, our Miss Ukraine, we wish you to win Miss Universe 2023.”
