Obstacles are an inevitable part of life, but it takes a determined and focused individual to overcome them and achieve their goals. Monali Sadhu Gawde from Solapur is one such woman who has defied the odds to accomplish her dreams. She recently made headlines by being selected as a Junior Judge in the
Maharashtra Public Service Commission examination.

Monali’s journey began at Shantiniketan High School in Solapur, where she completed her schooling. She went on to pursue higher education at Latur college and later studied law at Dayanand Law College in Latur. Determined to further her education, she moved to Pune for her post-graduation.

Unfortunately, Monali’s college journey was not smooth sailing. She suffered a significant loss in her life when her mother Rukmini Gawde passed away in 2012.

Despite this tragedy, Monali Sadhu Gawde persevered and used her mother’s inspiration to fuel her success. Alongside her father and brother, Monali had the support of her teacher, Bhimlesh Kumar Katiyar, who played a vital role in her journey.

Competitive exams are always a risk, with no guarantee of success. To hedge her bets, Monali also attempted the UGC NET exam to become a professor, which she aced on her first attempt. However, she chose not to pursue that career path and instead cleared the judge’s exam on her first try. Her success story has inspired many aspiring lawyers in Solapur, especially as she did not have any family background in the field of law.
