Jaismine Lamboria (Boxing): Jaismine Lamboria made history by becoming the first woman from the Indian Army to qualify for the Olympics. Lamboria, who hails from a family with a strong sporting background, stepped in to reclaim India’s spot after Parveen Hooda’s suspension.
Tulika Maan (Judo): Tulika Maan, a Delhi-origin judoka, earned her Olympic berth through the continental quota, reserved for athletes with the highest points on the continental ranking list. Competing in the +78kg category, Maan has a track record of excellence, including a silver medal at the 2022.
Aditi Ashok (Golf): Aditi Ashok is set to represent India for the third time at the Olympics. Ashok is a trailblazer in Indian golf, having won the first medal for India at an Asian Games individual golf tournament with a bronze in 2023.
Nethra Kumanan (Sailing): Chennai-origin sailor Nethra Kumanan qualified for Paris in April 2024 under the Emerging Nations Program at the Last Chance Regatta in Hyeres, France. She is the first Indian woman to qualify for the Olympics in sailing, previously competing in the Tokyo Games and finishing fifth on the overall leaderboard.
