Prativa Mohapatra: Adobe India’s First Female Leader!
Prativa Mohapatra was appointed as the new Vice President and managing director for Adobe India. She is making waves as the first woman to hold the position.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the tech industry, Mohapatra is making the move to Adobe from IBM and will be heading the company’s operations in India. Mohapatra will lead Adobe’s India business across Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud.
“Digital has become mission-critical for businesses and Adobe’s market-leading technologies are seeing strong momentum,” said Simon Tate, President, Adobe Asia Pacific. “Prativa’s (Mohapatra) passion for technology, and ability to build stellar teams, will take our India business to the next level of growth.”
Prior to this, the Odisha born Mohapatra held the position of VP of Digital Sales for the Asia Pacific region at IBM. Mohapatra is one of three female Vice Presidents and Managing Directors in the company globally.
