President Murmu Awards Degrees and Medals at Himachal Pradesh University Convocation

President Murmu recently presided over the 24th convocation ceremony of Himachal Pradesh University, which was held after a gap of four years. The ceremony was held on the university campus in Shimla and saw the awarding of degrees and medals to more than 27,000 students.

The convocation was also attended by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur, who both expressed their support for the university and its efforts to promote academic excellence. The Chief Minister also highlighted the state government’s commitment to providing quality education to all students in the state. The convocation marked a significant milestone for the university, which had faced several challenges in the past few years, including faculty shortages and financial constraints.
