Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has sent her sincerest congratulations to King Charles III and Queen Camilla after their coronation ceremony. The 63-year-old royal shared a photo of the newly crowned king and queen riding in their golden carriage on her Instagram account on May 6.

Ferguson was notably absent from the guest list for the coronation ceremony held at Westminster Abbey, which took place on May 5. The exclusion was confirmed last month by Us Weekly. Ferguson, who finalized her divorce from the king’s brother Prince Andrew in 1996, acknowledged that being divorced meant she couldn’t have it both ways in terms of attending royal events.

Despite missing the coronation ceremony, Ferguson celebrated the occasion with a special meal for residents, including a Crunchy Cream Cake and a variety of tea selections. She watched the ceremony on television while her family members, including her ex-husband, daughters, and sons-in-law, attended the Abbey ceremony in person.

Ferguson is expected to attend the Coronation Concert on May 7 at Windsor Castle, where she will be seated in the VIP section. The concert will feature a lineup of notable musicians, including Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Take That.

In sending her congratulations, Ferguson has displayed her respect and loyalty to the royal family, even in the face of exclusion.
