After finishing her education, Simran Lal worked in the film industry in Los Angeles before returning to India to work with her mother, Anita Lal, on the Good Earth brand. Good Earth is a luxury lifestyle brand that offers products such as home decor, tableware, and clothing. The company was founded by Anita Lal in 1996, and Simran Lal joined the company in 1998.

Under Simran Lal’s leadership, Good Earth has expanded significantly. The company has several stores across India and has also opened stores in Istanbul and London. Good Earth has also partnered with several high-profile brands such as Sabyasachi, Nicobar, and Jaipur Rugs.
