Student Avni secures Rs 64.61 lakh package, heads to Microsoft

Avni, a student at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, has set a new record with an annual salary package of Rs 64.61 lakhs. She has been offered a position at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington. Avni’s salary package includes a base salary of Rs 38.3 lakhs, a performance bonus of Rs 13.6 lakhs, and a joining bonus of Rs 12.71 lakhs.

Avni, who completed her undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, pursued her MBA at IIM Bangalore. She has previous work experience with Goldman Sachs and Hindustan Unilever Limited. Apart from setting a record for the highest CTC package, IIM Sambalpur also made history by offering its Class of 2021-23 100 percent placements. Apart from Avni, another student hailing from Tamil Nadu secured a high package.
