Nikki Haley Blames Both Parties for America’s Spending Crisis and Pledges to Veto Spending Bills as President

Indian-American presidential candidate Nikki Haley wrote an op-ed in USA Today where she blamed both the Democrats and Republicans for America’s spending crisis and its growing debt. She pledged to veto spending bills that don’t lead to pre-pandemic spending levels and said that the US needs to stop sliding toward bankruptcy.

Haley acknowledged that her stance would upset stakeholders in both parties but noted that she had taken on both parties as the governor of South Carolina. She said that the current push to raise the federal debt limit is depressing, but worse is the fact that this same fiasco will keep happening because Washington is not serious about getting spending under control.

Haley called for a president who will stand up to the big spenders in both parties and do what no one has done to date. She expressed confidence in her campaign and said that Americans are tired of drama and chaos and want a better option than Biden and Trump.

In an interview with “Ruthless,” Haley said that she was the number one surrogate raising money for candidates in 2022 and that she had gained valuable insights into what people want through her interactions with them.

For the unversed, Nimarata Nikki Haley is an American politician who served as the 116th governor of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017. She was the 29th United States ambassador to the United Nations for almost two years, from January 2017 through December 2018. She was born on 20th January 1972.
