Billie Eilish debuts in Donald Glover’s new thriller, ‘Swarm’

Billie Eilish, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming film “The Swarm”. The film, directed by acclaimed French director Justine Triet, is a thriller about a woman who discovers she has the power to control insects.

Eilish will play the role of a young woman who is part of a team that is trying to stop insects from destroying humanity. The role was specifically written for Eilish, and Triet said she was impressed by the singer’s acting abilities during the audition process.

Eilish has been making waves in the music industry since the release of her debut album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”, in 2019. She has won multiple Grammy awards and has become known for her unique style and genre-defying music.

“The Swarm” will mark Eilish’s first foray into acting, and the singer said she is excited about the opportunity. In a statement, she said, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this project and can’t wait for everyone to see it. Justine is an incredible director, and I’m honored to be working with her.”

The film is currently in production and is set to be released in theaters in 2024. Eilish is also working on new music and is set to embark on a world tour later this year.
