Prime Video has released the official trailer for the upcoming limited series, “Dead Ringers.” Starring Rachel Weisz as twin gynecologists, Elliot and Beverly Mantle, the psychological thriller is a modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 classic film of the same name.
The Mantle twins share everything, from drugs to lovers, and have an unapologetic desire to push the boundaries on medical ethics to bring women’s healthcare to the forefront. The show challenges antiquated practices and highlights the importance of women’s health in society.
The show also features a talented cast including Britne Oldford, Poppy Liu, Michael Chernus, Jennifer Ehle, and Emily Meade. All six episodes of the series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on April 21.
