Aditi Daga, the co-founder of Angara, has been included in Inc.’s prestigious 2023 Female Founders 200 list. The list recognizes female entrepreneurs across industries who are making a positive impact with their enterprising and risk-taking outlooks. Aditi’s inclusion on the list reflects her innovative and dedicated approach to creating a fine jewelry brand that celebrates individuality and personal style.

Aditi’s entrepreneurial journey began when she and her husband, Ankur Daga, were looking for a unique piece of jewelry to commemorate a milestone in their marriage. Disappointed with the lack of options available, they founded Angara to offer custom-made, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces that celebrate individualism and personality. Backed by a family legacy of over 400 years, Aditi and Ankur set out to combine the power of creation with the ancient energy of colored gemstones.

Today, Angara offers consumers handcrafted, fine gemstone jewelry that can be customized to suit their personal style. Aditi’s aim has always been to build a jewelry brand that women love, and she has succeeded in doing just that.

As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Aditi leads the development and distribution of licensing products across leading retail stores for fashion houses and collegiates. She is also a mentor for immigrants in the Cambridge Public School District and enjoys classical Indian dance and skiing.

With her inclusion in the Female Founders 200 list, Aditi continues to inspire women to express themselves and celebrate life’s precious moments with color. Angara is a vertically integrated brand, and every part of the jewelry-making process is handled in-house, right from ethically sourcing every single gemstone to handcrafting the designs customers choose around them.
