Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has once again sent a special gift to Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, this time in the form of 600 kg of mangoes, according to officials. The mangoes, including the popular ‘Himsagar’ and ‘Langra’ varieties, were sent as part of diplomatic efforts to strengthen ties between the two regions. This is not the first time such a gesture has been made, as mangoes were also sent last year. Furthermore, Hasina has extended the gesture to all the chief ministers of the northeast.

Last year, Hasina sent mangoes as gifts to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as the chief ministers of West Bengal, Tripura, and Assam. This gesture highlights the importance of cultural exchanges and goodwill gestures in diplomatic relations.
