The limited series, created by Eric Newman, Doug Miro, Ingrid Escajeda, and Carlo Bernard, explores Griselda Blanco’s life in 1970s-80s Miami, showcasing her unique blend of charm and savagery as she navigated the dangerous worlds of business and family.
Griselda’s criminal career eventually caught up with her when she was arrested in 1985 and sentenced to a lengthy prison term in the United States. She was later deported to Colombia in 2004, where she lived until her violent murder in 2012.
