India Shines at Asian Games 2023 with Gold and Silver Medals
India had a spectacular day at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, securing both gold and silver medals. The men’s and women’s trap shooting teams contributed to India’s medal haul, with the men’s team clinching the gold and the women’s team winning silver. Additionally, Aditi Ashok added to the glory by winning a silver medal in the individual golf event.
In the men’s trap shooting, the trio of Prithviraj Tondaiman, Kynan Chenai, and Zoravar Singh Sandhu displayed exceptional skill and set an Asian Games record with a score of 361, securing the gold medal.
The Indian women’s trap shooting team, consisting of Rajeshwari Kumari, Manisha Keer, and Preeti Rajak, gave a stellar performance, earning a well-deserved silver medal with a score of 227.
Aditi Ashok continued to shine in golf, maintaining her lead in the women’s individual competition with a remarkable 20-under par score. The Indian golf team also remained in contention for a medal, currently occupying the bronze medal position.
