Muskan Agrawal, an engineering graduate and recognized as India’s “top woman coder,” has secured an impressive annual salary package of ₹60 lakh from LinkedIn. Unlike many who graduate from the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), Agrawal earned her Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Una, Uttar Pradesh, with a final GPA score of 9.40. This achievement sets a record for the highest-ever salary package obtained by a student from IIIT Una. Last year, Agrawal gained the title of India’s top coder by winning TechGig Geek Goddess 2022, a major coding competition, surpassing over 69,000 participants and winning a cash prize of ₹1.5 lakh.

The competition’s finalists engaged in a relentless four-hour coding session to submit their winning programming solutions. Agrawal’s notable achievements in the technology sector led to her securing a position as a Software Development Engineer at LinkedIn. Currently based in Bengaluru, she has been working with the platform for the past five months.

Agrawal was also associated with Codess Cafe, a pro-bono mentorship initiative for collegiate women in technology. This initiative aimed to provide personalized mentorship, resources, and interview sessions. In the previous year, another IIIT Una trainee secured an annual package of ₹47 lakhs. Additionally, approximately 86% of the 2019-23 batch trainees found placements in around 31 different companies, showcasing the institute’s commitment to fostering successful careers for its graduates.
