Soo Joo Park painted the Cannes red carpet blue. Just days after attending the Gucci cruise show in London, the model and singer dazzled at the star-studded Kinds of Kindness premiere on Friday, wearing a custom Gucci creation.

Her long black gown was dramatically open on one side, held together by an intricate jeweled chain, paired with a matching arm cuff and earrings. The design made it appear as if the black velvet was slipping off her body, revealing a shimmering metal mesh layer underneath.

However, it was her blue hair and bleached brows that truly stole the show. She first showcased her new blue hue, styled by Jason Goh, on Instagram. “I’M BLUE ,” she captioned a series of photos and videos displaying the transformation process from her usual dark hair to cobalt blue.

Hunter Schafer, another star at the Kinds of Kindness premiere, approached her Cannes debut with seasoned elegance. After wearing “ugly” street-style flats the previous day, Schafer embraced Hollywood glamour in a custom Armani Privé gown. The strapless dress, inspired by Armani’s spring 2011 couture collection, was made from liquid, reflective satin that caught the sunlight beautifully. It featured a form-fitting bodice and a sculptural drop-waist maxi skirt. Schafer accessorized with a sapphire and diamond necklace, earrings, sleek hair, and blue stilettos, achieving a timeless silhouette with her stylist, Dara Allen.

Earlier in the day, Schafer showcased an avant-garde look from Kiko Kostadinov’s spring 2024 collection, consisting of an asymmetrical wrap top and draped trousers in shiny satin fabric. For an after-party, she switched into a Vivienne Westwood tea-length floral skirt and corset, paired with citrus yellow peep-toe pumps, further demonstrating her versatile style.
