New Delhi-based women’s clothing brand Fabnest, founded by Aditi Jain along with her husband Divam Jain, offers something for everyone. The D2C start-up plans to explore offline opportunities this year.

Offering from size XS to 6XL (soon to go up to 8XL), Fabnest has outfits for everyone. Couples, Aditi and Divam Jain had found a gap in the clothing industry since everything of good quality was expensive and the cheap ones were of poor quality. They wanted to provide affordable good quality outfits to the women of India and hence launched Fabnest, a women’s clothing bard, in 2017.

With Divam’s experience in manufacturing and e-commerce and Aditi’s vast expertise in designing and product development, this seemed the right move to make.

“We have something for everyone. We have casual styles that resonate with a 20-year-old college student, in-vogue formal wear for a 30-year-old working woman, and elegant festive ensembles for a 50-year-old,” says Co-founder Aditi in an interview with HerStory. The homegrown direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand offers multiple categories, including western, ethnic, fusion, and loungewear, to cater to the vast market. It also has a wide range of winter wear.

Fabnest launches two to three collections every month. The start-up sources its fabrics from various states, including Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu etc. “We have multiple collections in solids, prints, laces, and we keep incorporating other methods to keep reinventing the brand, and keep the consumer engaged and looking forward to what’s coming next,” Aditi says. They offer their product in all sizes at the same price. It targets women in the age group of 20 to 55 years.

They also do some charity work and use the waste cloth from their factories to make the middle layer of their 3-layer mask, or fabric bags, fabric buttons etc.
