Masoom Minawala is a fashion influencer from Mumbai who has collaborated with over 500 global brands and walked in International events like the Cannes Film Festival. She is representing India in the global fashion world.

Masoom Minawala considers herself a creator, then an entrepreneur and then an investor. In her own words, she runs her own start-up with a team and the product she produces is content.

Masoom Minawala is a fashion influencer from Mumbai, India who is representing India in the global fashion world. With an Instagram following of about 1.2 million and YouTube subscribers amounting to 53.9K, she is a well-known face among young fashion consumers today.  As an active investor, entrepreneur, representative of UN Women India, global influencer and social media content creator, Masoom Minawala is a multi-faceted personality who has also walked ramps for various fashion weeks. Masoom has walked on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival twice and has attended shows and events hosted by brands like Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Dior, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bulgari, and more.

For an influencer from India to reach this hights is not a small thing. But Masoom believes that her success came at a slow and steady pace, and not overnight. She started her blog when she was 18 years old and has been creating content for her followers for the past ten years.  Earlier she also used to run an e-commerce platform, but five years back, she gave that up to focus on content creation full time. She is also an investor. And as an influencer, she has collaborated with over 500 global brands.

While walking on the red carpets of international events, she has been criticised for her lack of height. But she has not let this affect her and she says, “But I’m not promoting myself as a celebrity. I am not here for the way I look.”

When it comes to her work, Masoom Minawala is strictly professional, “In the business of content, when a collaboration with a big brand comes through, it is based on building trust. No brand will invest in taking anyone to a Cannes Film Festival if they feel that the person will be inconsistent with their content or will drop out the next year. And this takes years to accomplish,” she says. “I’m here to be that conduit.”

As you are reading this Masoom Minawala would be making more content, or walking into some international event. Her success, as she said, did not come overnight, but came out of hard work and consistency. We salute that and she is an example to many youngsters out there.
