ShePower Global Connect USA x India Edition: A great beginning for bridging borders, building futures
The inaugural cross-border edition of ShePower Global Connect brought together women entrepreneurs from India and the Indian diaspora in the United States for an evening of connection, conversation, and collective ambition.
On 18 April 2026, SheSight Global hosted the first ShePower Global Connect USA x India Edition, a landmark virtual gathering designed to build meaningful bridges between India-based women founders and their diaspora counterparts across the United States. The event marked the debut of what is envisioned as a monthly series connecting women entrepreneurs across geographies, cultures, and industries.
Co-hosted by Dr. CeeVee, Founder of SheSight Global, and Jyothi Mistry, Founder of JM Financials (US), the event created a warm, energising space where participants exchanged ideas, shared their entrepreneurial journeys, and explored pathways for cross-border collaboration. The format encouraged genuine dialogue rather than passive listening, with participants actively engaging in discussions around market access, community building, and the distinct opportunities and challenges that come with building businesses across two very different ecosystems.
The conversation wove together themes of identity, resilience, and ambition, with women from diverse sectors finding common ground in the shared experience of navigating systems that were not always designed with them in mind. What emerged was not just a networking moment, but a sense of community: the feeling that the distance between Mumbai and Manhattan, or Hyderabad and Houston, is far smaller than it might appear when the right people are in the room.
For SheSight Global, the event represents the beginning of something larger. The ShePower Global Connect series is built on a simple but powerful premise: that when Indian women entrepreneurs and the diaspora community come together, the exchange creates value that flows in both directions. Ideas travel. Capital follows connection. Mentorship crosses time zones.
The event also marked the launch of SheSpeakers.com , a flagship portal by SheSight to promote women speakers across the globe.
