Born on September 29, 1993, into a Punjabi family in Chandigarh, Wamiqa debuted in “Jab We Met” as Kareena Kapoor Khan’s cousin. Her early breakthrough came with the Punjabi film “Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22,” where she starred alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh and Amrinder Gill.

Wamiqa further established her career with roles in two films with Diljit Dosanjh and later appeared in major Bollywood projects like “83,” sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Wamiqa Gabbi is set to star in the upcoming film “Baby John” alongside Varun Dhawan. Directed by A. Kaleeswaran and produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, this action thriller also features Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
