Alone
She was lost in the crowd
Her hand to be held,
There was pain in her eyes,
And no answer to her whys.
She’s tired of their lies,
They never heard her cries.
Yet she stands alone;
Alone, with ‘unpaired’ hands,
She can travel the globe,
The depths, the heights; all alone!
Surprisingly, she has two hands too!
One to ‘treat’ and another to hit you!
