An Intriguing Question
Golden Retriever and Poodle were sitting in the freshly mowed lawn in the backyard of their mistress’s house.Â
Golden: Hi Poodle, you seem deep in thought. What is it about?
Poodle: Oh, Yes. I am thinking about our Mistress.
Golden: She is a good mistress. She takes good care of us. What is the need of contemplating her?
Poodle: I couldn’t agree more. She is a good friend as well.
Golden: Then, what is bothering you?
Poodle: How come our Mistress is living an extremely long life? She is already 70 years old! Whereas, we live up to a maximum of 15 years. How is it possible?
Golden: Hmm…I never thought of it. Maybe because she is a healthy woman. She never breaks her food habits like eating nutritious food such as fruits and boiled veggies.
Poodle: I don’t think so. Because even we eat good protein food. She always provides us with eggs, chicken and fish. There is more to it than meets the eye!
Golden: She is fit! She goes walking for an hour daily. Maybe that can be the reason.
Poodle: We are also physically fit. She plays fetch and tug of war with us!
Golden: She has a good bond with her family members. Maybe, strong relationships are the cause of her longevity.
Poodle: Well, her family members cuddle and play with us too! Even we have a healthy relationship with them.
Golden: I got it! It’s her friends! They meet up every evening to play ludo or bingo.
Poodle: We also have Rocky, Coco and Charlie. So, what’s the big deal?!
Golden: I give up Poodle! I have no answer for this.
In the Meantime, their Mistress began laughing thunderously! Immediately, Golden and Poodle looked at each other and raced up to her room to find out why she was laughing.
Golden & Poodle: (Revelation) Oh, Suppandi’s silly jokes increased her longevity!
